NLCS Game 3

Incredible outing by the Phils allaround. Almost removes the bitter
taste of the Birds' loss.

The Phils scored more points against one of the NL's best teams than
the Eagles did against one of the NFL's worst. Sigh, even on good days
it's hard to be a Philly sports fan.

Barton Springs

This shot doesn't really do it justice, but this was a really nifty
swimming hole in Austin. It's fed by the same spring that supplies the
city's drinking water! (as I understood it). Definitely stop by and go
for a dip if you're in Austin. Now on to oysters, champagne, and
Mexican food!

Day 2 in Texas = much better! This picture of the state capital is
from my post training class run, I had a great dinner downtown at
Louie's 106, and I got to walk around a bit.

something more exciting, but the red-eye and a full day of training
wiped me out.
