Backyard update

A lot happens in one day when you finally throw in the towel and hire professional help. Maybe the yard will be ready for summer after all? We'll see how long it takes to put it all back together again...

Growing up fast

Our little boy is growing up fast! The weather has been amazing the last week, well into the mid 70s. Jack loves playing outside!

Backyard update

Warning: this is a non-Jackson related post! We've been slowly but surely making progress with the planters, pulling out one shovelful of dirt at a time. It's been tough going, with the huge amount of large roots from the magnolia tree. But we've almost reached our first goal of removing the dirt and brick and hope to have the cement retaining walls demo'd by the end of the month.

With spring around the corner, we also decided to add a little life to our construction site.

First Haircut

Jack got his first bang trim yesterday. I think the bowl cut looks pretty darn cute on the little guy.
